09 November 2006  Senior travel insurance firm named top insurer
Insure for All, a company focused on offering travel insurance over 65, has been named the insurer of the year by the International Travel Insurance Journal (ITIJ).

The five categories judged for awards by the journal included those for the best air ambulance, claims handler, cost-containment company, advertiser and insurer.

OAP travel insurance provider Insure for All won the accolade for top insurer, with the company stating it was "particularly thrilled" to have been voted for this award by its peers.

Graham Linney, director of Insure for All, said: "Customers have responded positively since we launched Insure for All in November 2005 and we'd like to continue making customer service and good products part and parcel of our success."

This month's ITIJ includes analysis of the recently introduced age-discrimination legislation, noting its indirect effects on the industry's approach to senior travel insurance.
