07 December 2006  Online travel booking service launched
Travellers that prefer to make their holiday bookings online, including those with senior travel insurance, may want to make use of a new online travel booking service launched by Aeroports de Paris.

The company has joined with Expedia Private Label to launch the site, which gives details of flight times to and from Paris, suggested itineraries, maps and shopping information and service guides.

Pascal Bourgue, marketing retail and communications director for Aeroports de Paris, said: "Our visitors will be able to book hotels, cars, trips [...] in just a few clicks while visiting the Aeroports de Paris site."

He added that the company was continuing in its plan to enhance the quality of its services from travel preparation to reception.

Last year, OAP travel insurance provider Barclays reported that British holidaymakers spent over £285 million in Paris in 2004.

The company reminded those heading abroad to shop to ensure they are adequately covered by travel insurance before they travel.
