Holidaymakers buying OAP travel insurance may be among the intended audience for a new section added to a website aimed at the over-50s.

The website, Senior Discounts, has launched a travel section, Seniors Discount Travel, which allows those planning their trips to book accommodation and flights and compare prices between providers.

Regarding the new section, Senior Discounts commented: "Rather than scouring travel agents and the internet, mature travellers will save time by finding up to date information on senior travel tours, plus travel tips to assist them in making the most of their well deserved holiday."

Visitors to the site can make use of lists of special offers, money tips, product suggestions and the ability to compare the cost of trips and senior travel insurance prices.

Senior Discounts is a site designed to help over-50s save money and has also set up the Grey Army scheme to assist the elderly promote their own businesses.
