19 January 2007  Luxury villas offered to UK travellers
UK holidaymakers wanting a luxury holiday in 2007, including those with senior travel insurance, may be interested to hear that a specialist in luxury villas has launched its brochure in Britain for the first time.

Sanctuary Villas and Apartments is offering holidaymakers the chance to stay in range of luxury accommodation, from a large country estate near Bordeaux in France to two-bedroom apartments in Florence.

"The Sanctuary hosted service includes daily maid service, a fully-stocked drinks fridge, an initial supply of toiletries and provisions, breakfast delivered to the villa on the first morning, pool towels and a Sanctuary host who welcomes clients upon arrival," the company notes.

It adds that this host is on-call 24 hours a day during the break to advise on activities available in the area, which can include wine tasting, painting, cookery classes and yacht charters.

Last year, OAP travel insurance provider More Than reported that an increasing number of Britons were heading abroad on boutique and luxury holidays.
