12 September 2006  Home pick-up service for coach travellers
Holidaymakers who enjoy sightseeing coach trips, including those with OAP travel insurance, will soon be able to take advantage of a home collection and drop-off service.

The Home Connect service by tour company WA Shearings will pick up travellers from their doorstop and take them to the regional departure point of their chosen coach tour.

It is estimated by the operator that the services could save holidaymakers up to 90 minutes on their travel time before they start their tour.

Karen Gee, sales and marketing director of the company, said: "We've undergone a process of consultation with our customers and have responded to their feedback with these new coaching options and other improvements.

"The changes being introduced in our new brochures will mean a much more flexible way to join our holidays".

WA Shearings is a UK-based holiday company that specialises in holidays for customers requiring senior travel insurance, with coach holidays within the UK and Ireland in addition to trips to Europe and other international destinations
