11 April 2007  Firm offers luxury cruises inside Europe
A luxury cruise specialist is offering travellers, including those with senior travel insurance, the opportunity to take an atypical cruise exploring some inland attractions in addition to Europe's coastal cities.

Travellers on Crystal Cruises' trips to Europe this year will be able to spend time in a number of cities ranging from Venice and Rome to Prague, Budapest and Vienna, among others.

John Stoll, director of land programmes at the firm, said: "We have designed a programme that takes the Crystal experience to the interior with one-of-a-kind accommodations, enriching guides and personal attention."

He added that these trips will deliver luxury, style and service of the same standard as previous cruises from the company.

Last year, OAP travel insurance provider Axa reported that 14 per cent of Britons planned cruise holidays in 2006, while Britons spent £97.3 billion in total on holidays during the year.
