19 May 2006 Elderly travellers offered break from World Cup
easyJet are offering deals which will allow elderly travellers, many with senior travel insurance, the chance to escape the World Cup this summer
Budget airline easyJet are offering breaks to avoid the "bleeping" and "roars" that will accompany this summer's tournament, to destinations such as Geneva and Palma.
Company spokesperson Sarah Pritchett believes that for those who aren't interested in the hectic summer of football "there is only one real solution for those looking for a bit of peace and tranquillity".
"Once you land there's a football-free experience waiting to be explored in search of some peace and tranquillity, or some adventure or retail therapy," she added.
Affordable prices for travel insurance over 65, combined with easyJet's offer, will ensure that relaxing breaks are available to all elderly travellers to many of Europe's most beautiful cities.
